I have been to the Luna Nueva Hotel. It's on the other side of Volcano Arenal, that would be the east side, up high in the wild jungles. It's an awesome place. They have this tower built above the tree tops where you can see for miles above the forest canopy. Personally it was so high I got a bit ill up there but the view was worth it. They grow their own food organically for the restaurant and you can sit in a hot tub and get a great massage. A nice spot!
